Day 01 to 03

Day 04: Trichy - Tanjore

After taking breakfast proceed by road to Tanjore. En route visit Srirangam, well-known for its Ranganathaswamy temple. This 13th Century temple is situated on a 250-hectare island in the Cauvery River and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. On arrival in Tanjore, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Tanjore - Karaikudi - Madurai

Morning excursion to the Sri Brihadeshwara temple, built by the great Chola King - Raja Raja I, in the 10th century AD, which is an outstanding example of Chola architecture. Sitauted near the temple is the palace with massive corridors, spacious halls and an art gallery containing many beautiful granite and bronze statues of the Chola period. After breakfast drive to Karaikudi visiting Heritage Palace and House in Karaikudi, later proceed to Madurai. On arrival in Madurai transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Madurai

After breakfast visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace with its musical pillars. Afternoon, tour the Meenakshi Temple to view the one of the grandest examples of Dravidian temple architecture. Thousands throng the Hall of Thousand Pillars to offer prayers to the many deities. Late evening, optional tour to witness the closing ceremony of the temple. Overnight at Madurai.

Day 07: Madurai - Kanyakumari

After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening enjoy the sunset view at Arabian Sea. Overnight at the hotel. Situated at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of India. A sacred place to the Hindus, the site attracts a large number of pilgrims.

Day 08: Kanyakumari - Kovalam

Early morning visit seashore for viewing sunrise. It is pertaining to note that this is the only place in India where you can view both sunrise and sunset against the backdrop of sea. Today, half-day excursion to Kanyakumari including Vivekananda Memorial, built on the huge rock beyond the tip of the land. After lunch drive to Kovalam. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight to the hotel.

Day 09: Kovalam

Kovalam has emerged as one of the finest beaches in India. 10km south from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram is a serene place. Full day relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Kovalam Departure

According to the flight or train timing you will be transferred.
